This past Saturday the Round Lake Community Concert Band put on a absolutely fantastic afternoon concert collaborating with the Village of Round Lake and the Round Lake Area Park District.
Culvers generously provided delicious custard to ensure that concertgoers stayed cool and enjoyed a sweet treat.
As families gathered in the park, the Concert Band delivered a moving performance of patriotic music that set the tone for the day. Hearing those familiar songs performed live, surrounded by neighbors and friends, created a shared moment that felt both meaningful and uplifting
I look forward to more great performances from the Round Lake Community Concert Band and other A250 (America 250 and American 250-Illinois) celebrations throughout the year.
